Green's Energize the Body - Period!
I love salads and gourmet raw food, but lately, I've been loving green smoothies at lunch time. They are filling, tasty, enjoyable, energizing and quick to make! When you're on the go, a smoothie is the solution.

handful of baby spinach
handful of torn kale, ribs removed
handful of torn swiss chard leaves
1 very ripe banana, with the brown spots
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 cup pineapple chunks
2 Medjool dates, pitted
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 1/2 to 2 cups water (depending on how thick/thin you like your smoothie)
*Blend all of the ingredients above in your Vitamix blender on high for a minute or two or until everything is creamy and smooth. Add more water if the smoothie is too thick for your liking (I like thick smoothies). Enjoy this tall drink in place of your lunch - this super drink is highly nutritious and satisfying!
