WILD BLUEBERRIES marry hazelnut milk to make a lovely, silky smooth morning drink.
This smoothie is a great way to start your day. It is loaded with wild blueberries and blended in a base of home-made hazelnut milk. Wow! It is totally delicious and a favourite for my kids.

Serves 6 (2 adults & 4 kids OR 3 adults)
600g frozen wild blueberries
3 fresh ripe bananas
2 heaping Tbsp raw honey
2 Tbsp whole flaxseed
1/3 cup hazelnuts
4 cups filtered/spring water
*For the hazelnut milk, place the nuts and water in your high-powered blender (VitaMix or Blendtec) and blend on high for a minute or so. This will make smooth and silky hazelnut milk in seconds. Set aside in a large jar or carafe and rinse out your blender.
*Then, place the remainder of the ingredients in your blender. Top with the hazelnut milk and blend. You'll have to blend this drink on high for a minute or two before it is done. You'll stop when the drink is smooth and well blended.
That's it! Serve immediately. Enjoy this lovely dark blue/purple drink for your next breakfast (or snack).
