Here's how you do it ...
Fill your blender with filtered/spring water to the 4 cup line. Add a pinch of high quality sea salt (I use Celtic sea salt). Add a healthy drizzle of high quality RAW honey (I use about 2 or 3 Tbsp). Add 2 or 3 small pitted dates. Add a few ice cubes and blend for a minute or so.
That's it. Serve immediately or store this milk in your refrigerator for up to 3 days ... it never lasts for more than a day in our house!
People around me are always saying how they want to make their own nut milk but just don't have the time. This nut milk is made literally in seconds. No one can say they don't have time to make this nut milk recipe. Its too easy and so is the clean up. And definitely worth it. If you think cow's 'milk does a body good' take a look at cashew milk. Cashew milk is high in B vitamins, magnesium and copper and, unlike cow's milk, it is cholesterol free. Also, about 75% of the fat found in cashew milk is unsaturated fatty acids, primarily oleic acid, the same monounsaturated fat found in olive oil. That means the fat in cashew milk is heart healthy and can help lower your risk of stroke and heart disease.
P.S. Add more or less honey depending on how sweet you like your milk. Add some vanilla bean for added flavour. Peace!
