Kids love to get involved ... | Give them the chance to shine ... |
Today my eight-year old son made us a wonderful green juice. With just a little of your help, your kids can too. I prepped the vegetables and fruit and set up the machine. He did the rest. The best part was that he loved doing it and getting involved. If you watch the videos you'll see that he was so very proud of his very first green juice on YouTube video. Afterwards he drank a huge cup of the juice he made and tried to sell it to his brother and sisters! It was so cute.
It's simple -- wanna get your kids drinking green juice, get them involved.
On this day 7 of my green juice journey, we decided to make Rainbow Swiss Chard, fennel, apple juice. By now you will have noticed that I like to keep my green juice very simple. I love the clean flavours and I love the simplicity of it. Try any one of my recipes this week and I'm sure you'll be pleased.
For today's recipe I used:
1 very large bunch of Rainbow Swiss Chard
4 Honey Crisp apples
1 lemon
1 large bulb of fennel
And it was awesome!
So with the success of this week's green juice journey, I've decided to keep my green juice blog going. My kids and I are loving it and now, my husband wants to join in too. That's the thing about green juice -- it's contagious and addictive!
So, stay tuned for another week on green juice and green juice blogging!
Peace.
